We have a fairly large MPLS network with around 200 sites. Our LANs/WANs all have the appropriate trusts and markings already set up, so we mark in scavenger class specific URL categories. We haven't yet gone into marking specific applications yet.

Has anyone looked into doing any QOS for the PARCC assesment testing? Right now I'm not doing any QOS on our 5050, but think it would be a good idea to do something so the testing gets priority over some staff member watching Netflix during their break period.

Hi Brad,

Qos is a nice stuff in palo. Just keep in mind that QoS:

 - Must be assign on palo's interface for outgoing traffic (Lan interface for Video)

 - Have no interest for UDP traffic (congestion already happen)

 - Rules have to be defined per subnet / Group ... Share bandwisth per user is not possible (or one rule per user :-()

But it can be ver interesting for having bandwisth real time graph per app / User / CoS

Hope help.

v.
