I was just able to install 'hexatech' free vpn from the Apple App store and with a couple of clicks COMPLETELY bypassed my Palo Alto firewall! This program uses a variety of random IPs. It seems to like port 9010, though it uses others. Short of enabling decryption on my firewall, what are my options?

Hi,

I see this has been brought to our attention and work is in progress to introduce application signature for the same. You can open a case with Tech Support if you wish.

Also I see that if you enable SSL decryption, firewall identifies the application as unknown-tcp and hence you can drop this.

Also please do submit a app id request for the same to your application team: http://researchcenter.paloaltonetworks.com/submit-an-application/
