I want to change the default action from alert to block .
the rule is under simple-client-medium , but the search result shows it is under
simple-client-high

Hi,

simple-client-critical = all threats affecting client side with severity of critical.

simple-client-medium = all threats affecting client side with severity of medium.

It appears you are trying to modify the strict profile which is a pre-defined profile and it is in read-only mode (See the header on the window as it says (Read Only)). You should clone the strict profile, modify the newly created profile & change its actions, and apply the new profile in your policies.

you're trying to change pre-defined profile and its not possible. So you should clone strict profile
