Hello All,

It would seem to me that you are unable to modify the rule ID value of an existing policy in traps.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

I suspect you would be able to export the rule set, modify the XML, then re-import, but I was hoping for a way to just modify the ID number in console. Issue being, that although when new rules are created a gap of 10 ID's are reservered (that is, If my highest rule is #410, the next rule I create will be #420), what if you have a requirement to change the order of precedence.

Any thoughts?

~Ronen

Hello,

As far as l am aware you cannot modify rule ID but you always can create a new one with higher ID number so it will take effect.
