Hi,

is there a way to see the default of a certain setting... as a one would do with "sh run all" on C*SCO?

Thank you!

Best regards,

Armin

anything specific you are looking for?

do you want to see what used to be the default before you changed it, or which setting is still default and not listed in the config?

if you know what you're looking for, you should be able to find it in '> show system state'

Hi Reaper,

thanks for your reply.

Basically I'm interested to see what is the default of a setting, caused by that it is still "default" (not explicitlely configured yet, and therefor not in the config), or there is something in the config and I'd like to see if it matches the default or not.

"show system state" as I see it, gives information about the current state....

in conjunction with a missing configuration this is an indicator to the default setting... if one understands how the configuration variables there are mapped to settings in the configuration.

In my case I was not able to see the default for

deviceconfig setting ctd skip-block-http-range

I know the default from looking up the website, but not from the system state.

I configured this particular setting to the default value (it was not explicitely set before) and my customer tells me, that this solved his problem....

But my question is not limited to just this setting....

Is there a way to see the defaults, just as "show run all" would show in C*SCO?
