      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think the reason you end up in bootloader is that the pan-os image can't be loaded because of disk issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd open a case asap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We had a similar issue a while back and we replaced the PA2020. &amp;nbsp;Internally, we had a discussion about replacing the traditional HDD with an SSD, hoping to improve performance when viewing reports and in monitor mode. &amp;nbsp;And yes, we recognize the SSD will be 'wasted' on the pa2020 as the chassis doesn't support sata 3; we would still (in theory anyway) at least be able to max out the sata2 interface bandwidth.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone attempted to replace the traditional 3.5" HDD with an SSD (likely with appropriate mounting adapter)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've done it in a lab device and really didn't notice any differences as far as speed goes. I would throw a word of caution against running an SSD in any device like this though. The device constantly reads/writes files and in roughly a year the SSD (admitably not a high end one) was already slowing drastically before I replaced it with a normal HDD before it failed completely.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
