PA-200 | Auto Shutdown via UPS - USB

I'm wondering if the USB on the face of a PA-200 firewall can be used with a UPS to properly shutdown the firewall in the event of a power outage? If so, how can someone set this up?

When l am in the lab l use it as iPhone charger. Works well!

Most likely, you'd want to connect the UPS management cable to another host, and have that use SSH to connect to the firewall to issue a shutdown command when the UPS loses power (before shutting down the host connected to the UPS). If there is no other host available ... 🙂
