I would look at locking down what a user account can do and investigating the possiblity of allowing them SSH access without any access to things that they don't need.

hi, is the ping feature available in the UI, or at least on the roadmap?

we have users that don't allow SSH to the box and they need ping to refresh arp entries to the hosts or basic t/s.

thanks!

there's no ping from the GUI (roadmap questions you'll need to ask your sales team)

ARP entries should refresh automatically, if that's not happening you should investigate the root cause

read-only admins also have restricted access in the CLI and can't execuse 'harmful' (config, commit, reboot,...) commands, but can ping. you could look into this option ?

not too concerned about arp; only mentioned it as it was a few items, of many, that we need to use ping for basic t/s.

just wanted to see if anyone on this community has seen this feature in the roadmap.

would be nice to use one UI for everything !!
