      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to deploy a VM-Series appliance in a lab environment using VMWARE workstation and GNS3.&lt;BR /&gt;The interface however don't show up.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; show interface hardware is empty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have configured in GNS3 to use VMXNET3.&amp;nbsp; And also verified the vmx config file is using this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Example config settings vmxf file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.vnet = "VMnet4"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.connectiontype = "custom"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.vnet = "VMnet5"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.connectiontype = "custom"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.present = "TRUE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.startconnected = "FALSE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.virtualdev = "vmxnet3"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.wakeonpcktrcv = "FALSE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet2.addresstype = "generated"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.present = "TRUE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.startconnected = "FALSE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.virtualdev = "vmxnet3"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.wakeonpcktrcv = "FALSE"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ethernet3.addresstype = "generated"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any body have an idea an how i can get the interface recognized?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is a trial i have downloaded not activated yet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kind regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Frederik.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
