I am wondering if it is possible to create a report based on the number and type of "System" (Medium, High, Critical) alerts generated by the PA firewall?

Not really. You can of course filter System logs by severity, but you can't create a custom report from that information.

Out of the box solution: none

Custom solution: --> API --> parse the logquery and build this report with a few lines of code in the language you prefer
