I just had a very bad experience with pan-os 7.1.12 on a vm-100 HA cluster.

After installing 7.1.12 (upgrade from 7.1.11) on the passive node interface 1/1 passes no traffic when when i make the upgraded node "active"

The network icon on the network tab shows red and no traffic is flowing on that interface, other interfaces function normal.

In the monitoring tab section system everything seems normal: is shows: 'Port ethernet1/1: Up 10Gb/s-full duplex' just like the other ports.

This are exact the same symptoms as the guest nic is disconnected in vsphere but that was not the case.

I tried rebooting/shutting down etc the PA-vm-100 but without any result.

After rolling back to 7.1.11 interface 1/1 started working again immediately

So be aware!
