      <description>&lt;P&gt;if you deny a connection in an early stage (at first security pass when you're still checking for the destination port etc) there is no app-id yet (as you're blocking a SYN packet) so the application will be logged as not-applicable&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;same for the destination interface: if the firewall is already blocking the connection at a really early stage, there's no need for a forward route lookup to determine the egress interface&lt;/P&gt;
