Hi All,

How do you remove Global Protect from settings an Iphone? Went into settings --> general --> then VPN. But not able to remove or delete the profile. Also checked in profile management and the VPN is not located there.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

@testzdcrap,

I'm not able to reproduce this issue at all. Are you positive the application is actually uninstalled. This is something that Apple does in the uninstall process of any application, so say Cisco Anyconnect, the application package itself doesn't really do the uninstall like on Windows or Mac; Apple performs the action on there behalf.

If GlobalProtect is completely uninstalled and it still shows in your settings it sounds like the uninstall got weird, you may want to try a reinstall and uninstall again to see if it removes correctly a second time.

I can replicate the behavior.

I installed GP on my iPhone (7, iOS 10.3.3) and connected to the gateway. I then disconnected, and uninstalled the app. I also rebooted my phone as an extra step just in case, but I still see it under Settings > General > VPN.

@testzdcrap I'd recommend getting a case opened with support. I suspect that this is an Apple issue, so it may not be something that can be easily fixed, but at least getting it reported is a good step.

Greg Wesson
