Hi All,

When I try to open the URL of our portal I get the following error in Chrome:

Chrome: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Firefox: SSL_ERROR_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE_ALERT

I also imported the wildcard certificate to 'Personal' and 'Trusted Root CA.'

I tried multiple browsers but with no one of them it works, is there some one that has a clue about this problem?

Did this work previously ?

Have you recently upgraded to PAN-OS 8.0.4 ?

If yes then I'd recommend that you reach out to TAC. I've seen similar reports on 8.0.4 and you might want to verify if you are hitting a known issue.

Yes it did, I did not a upgrade of PAN I'm already on version 8.0.4 for like 30-35 days now.

Suddenly, it does not work anymore since yesterday afternoon.

If you are on 8.0.4 then I recommend to reach out to support.

I've seen similar reports in 8.0.4 of attempting to access the portal results in ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.

Better to make sure if you are hitting a known issue or not.
