topic PAN-OS 8.0 HA A/S Cluster MAC Flapping in General Topics

Is anyone else experiencing MAC Flapping with an A/S Cluster running PAN-OS 8.0?

When one of the firewalls is rebooted and goes into the HA passive state the network detects a network loop because of MAC address flapping between the Active and Passive firewall. Because of this dynamic MAC learning is disabled for 180 seconds on both interfaces. Hence no traffic is being forwarded at all via the firewalls. This wasn't happening on version 7.1

Firewalls are connected to two Nexus vPC pairs via a non-LACP port-channel.

HA as Active/Standby, preemption is already turned off. Passive link state is active.

Did you determine a resolution, currently have this issue with a set of Arista Switches?
