Hello everybody,

one of my customers wanted to expand the size of certain widget. for instance , system log panel, since they don't see the GUI at any time everyday. some of logs would be missed.

do we have a way to expand the widget's size and have it list more logs on it.

And as you know, we have LED lights in the front of box , Can we add new widget in the dashboard to reflect the status?

because the status of LEDs is very important for all of us , isn't it?

Danny

I'd recommend tehe customer to set up a log forwarding profile for all critical system events so the notification is received by all important parties

the system log in the dashboard is unfiltered so depending on the jobs the system is running at the time, there may be clutter that is of less concern (GP data file updates, WildFire package updates and queue/dequeue jobs, EDL updates which are all informational)

for monitoring purposes you can also switch to the monitor tab, select the appropriate log(s in multiple windows), set a filter and enable autorefresh
