Included Groups under Group Include list showing full LDAP distinguished name. Would someone be able to advise how to configure a firewall to display "DomainName\GroupName" instead?

Thank you

Marek

It can be done, as we have this configured in our core firewalls but with the same User-ID configuration on new firewall it displays full long name of the groups. Perhaps it has changed in PAN-OS 8.0.x and only full group names are only available.

Why this is needed is when a new rule is created with user group, I don't want to see full name the group which includes OU, domain name etc. just would like to see group name only.

Ok thanks for the explanation, i rolled back from v8 after 10 mins of use so never experienced this. Hopefully someone else will able to advise as no real need to see the fqdn, just a group name would suffice....
