Custom Reports-Elapsed Time (sec)

I was wondering if anyone could advise how the Elapsed Time (sec) is calculated from the Custom Reports Traffic Log database. I have tried to convert the time that is captured and reported in seconds into hours/minutes to assess the user's overall browse time. However, converted time is not correct -either calculates to more than a 24 hour period or is greater than the time the user was logged onto a workstation.

What is the method that is being used to convert reported seconds into hours/minutes?

Please take a look at the following document: Traffic Log Time Stamps

The summary is that often the long elapsed time comes from sessions that were not ended properly and instead time out. The time out period maybe 3600 seconds or one hour. Thank you,

     ~Jamie
