      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi...Please check out this document on packet flow through the PA.&amp;nbsp; You are correct, AppID is performed before content ID.&amp;nbsp; You can configure content ID under File Blocking Profile.&amp;nbsp; When you set the action=alert then the PA will identify the contents (.pdf, .exe, etc) and log them.&amp;nbsp; You can see the various apps where we scan for contents.&amp;nbsp; Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1628"&gt;Packet Flow in PAN-OS&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
