Hi,

I'm wondering what effect, if any, does the default wildfire analysis profile have when you do not have the wildfire license applied to your firewall?

Hi @El-ahrairah

Without a license, the firewall will forward only PE files (portable executable) to the wildfire cloud. For these files you will also eeceive reports, but you will not have the wildfire signatures. If you have a threat prevention subscription the signatures will be available within 24 hours, but not within 15 min, what it would be with a WF subscription.

The forwaeding of PE files was free since the beginning of wildfire.
