Does anyone know if there is a way of getting an alert, be it email or someone on the firewall that advises when there is a new release of the PAN-OS?

Hello Bango,

You can subscribe "Content update emails" and "security advisories". But, There is currently no notification email for maintenance releases of the PAN-OS.

There is an alternative way to get community digest summary report, which will include the information about the new PAN OS release. Email Notifications for Followed Activities

Software Release Notices: PAN-OS 6.0.x
