What is the byte size of bps on the datasheet?

Compare to Cisco, it was mention that the bytes size is 1,204 bytes on the datasheet.

How about the Palo Alto?

is it 1,204 bytes or 512 bytes?

Which datasheet are you referring to?

the way speeds and sized are measured should be universal across all vendors

1mbps = 1024 kilobit per second = 1.048.576 bits per second

while 1MBps = 1024 KiloBytes per second = 1.048.576 Bytes = 8.388.608 bits (1byte = 8 bits)

a byte is 8 bits, so anything expressed in bytes is 8* the size in bits

As @reaper said it depends on the datasheet. However generally PA utilizes 64KB HTTP transactions for all of the throughput listings, and the Session per Second is measured with application-override utilizing 1 byte HTTP transactions.

I 've found the 64KB HTTP transactions on the datasheet.

also that i'd like to know about the byte size of IPSec VPN throughput.

There were Fireall throughput and Threat Prevention throughput. It was mentioned.

But there are no comment about the IPSec VPN troughput.

@Kang_Han,

It would help if you mentioned what platform you are looking at; as the VPN throughput on each are all going to be different. VPN Throughput is meassured the same overall, depending on when it was tested it would still be 64KB HTTP transactions.

while 1MBps = 1 MegaByte per second = 1024 bytes = 1024*8 bits

1kbps = 1024 bits per second.

I believe all throughput values are tested with the same 64KB HTTP transactions - IPSec VPN included.
