    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/91319"&gt;@hbshin&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the device is unable to resolve any of the listed domains within the logs, one would expect these logs to be generated within the System logs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So diving a bit deeper:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is slightly confusing as the 'type' of&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;dnsproxy&lt;/EM&gt; would indicate to many that you are using the actual dnsproxy feature on the firewall, but this isn't the case. There is a object by default called&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;mgmt-obj&lt;/EM&gt; that works to resolve hostnames when you check on the "resolve hostname" checkbox in the various logs, or if you utilize that feature during a scheduled job. This trigers a reverse dns lookup using the arpa database, and sends a dns query for a pointer record of the domain name.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If this process fails for any reason you would see the indicated logs; many people have noticied it with 8.1 in particular.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
