Hi,

I'd like to know which PAN-OS is currently recommended? And this in combination with GlobalProtect?

Hi @LucBastiaens,

At the moment of this writing the following PAN-OS versions are recommended in their respective code-train :

PAN-OS 8.1.12

PAN-OS 7.1.19

PAN-OS 6.1.21 (PAN-OS 6.1 will be end-of-life on October 25, 2018)

GP version 4.1.5

GP version 4.0.8 (GP 4.0 is end-of-engineering as of May 2, 2018. End-of-support will be January 30, 2019)

PAN-OS 8.0.12 or 8.1.2, since 8.1.12 does not exist?

Yes ... typo on my part. I did mean PAN-OS version 8.0.12.

PAN-OS 8.1.3 is considered recommended, if PAN-OS 8.1 software features or hardware are required.

Hi,

Can you give me an update on which version(s) are currently recommended?

We are currently on 8.0.14.

When upgrading to 8.1.x do we need to upgrade the useridagent, and terminal services agent?

Hi @LucBastiaens ,

If you're currently on 8.0.14 then the preferred upgrades for you are 8.0.16 or 8.1.6.
