GlobalProtect for Linux cannot connect to local gpd service

After installing the rpm (latest version as of today: 4.1.7, running on Fedora 28) the cli client cannot communicate with the service (although it is started):

$ systemctl status gpd

Does anyone have an idea what's going on here before I open a support case?

@ctr_ts,

I'd probably chock this up to Fedora not being a supported Linux distrobution. Currently the only supported is CenOS 7, RHEL 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and later, Ubuntu 16, and Ubuntu 18 works but not officially.

I switched to the latest (head) version of OpenConnect which also supports PaloAlto portal and gateway connection (without the need to enable xauth).
