Boot the device and monitor the sequence for the autoboot message.       <title>maint password for 3.1.1</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since rebooting one of our firewalls it has gone into maintenance mode. We are trying to SSH to the management port using the maint username and MA1NT as password as specified in the doco. We are getting access denied. Has the password changed for the later version or is access restricted via SSH?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;login as: maint&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The system is in maintenance mode. Connect via serial console or with user 'maint' through ssh to access the recovery tool.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;maint@1x.x.x.x's password:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Access denied&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;maint@x.x.x.x's password:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt; &lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
