Hey,

the following text you can find on this page:

The System Source Port Allocation Range and System Reserved Source Ports fields specify the range of ports that will be allocated to non-user sessions. Make sure the values specified in these fields do not overlap with the ports you designate for user traffic. These values can only be changed by editing the corresponding Windows registry settings. The TS agent does not allocate ports for network traffic emitted by session 0.

Can anyone help me to "editing the corresponding Windows registry settings"? In the docs I don't found an answer. Is there a key i have to add?

Thanks

these are ephemeral ports used by the operating system (windows) and do not need to be added or changed (but can be if you really need to)

The solution didn't work for that.

We had same issues on Windows 10 and Windows server 2012 r2.

The following procedure was positively done for Windows 10:

- Locate or Create a multi-string key named "ReservedPorts" on: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Insert on it the value/values of port/s that you want to use as exception, this value from Palo Alto terminal Server Agent Configure tab will be "System Reserved Source Ports" and it must be inside the range of Ports "System Source Port Allocation Range"

This procedure was not working on Windows Server 2012 r2 , so we add those configurations, mentioned on the following article "https://supportcases.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000Clj1CAC":

- Locate the key "HonorSrcPortRequest" on Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Palo Alto Networks\TS Agent\Adv\ and change it's value to 1 or 2 (read link above to understand which one is the right value to use).

Support Palo Alto doesn't have any documentations about same configuration on Terminal Server agent versions 8.1 or 9 ( I opened a support ticket )

Hope this will help someone.
