Error after upgrade of panos 8.0.17 - 8.1.0

After doing an upgrade I get the following error.

Error: Max. user groups used in policy 1117 exceeds capacity (1000)
(Module: device)
Commit failed

The FW model is a PA-3020

Hi Alan in previous version it appears the device limit wasn't being properly enforced

You can fix this by setting User-ID to only include user groups that are actively used on the device : Device > User Identification > Group Mapping > profile > Group Include List

@reaper "previous version" you mean 8.0.17? Or all 8.0.x family doesn't enforced this device limit?
