      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a query regarding dhcp relay , I L3 interface on switch where ip helper is configured then there is interconnect between core switch and firewall question is do we need to enabled dhcp relay on palo alto interface connected to core switch&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In most situations like what you appear to be describing, the ip helper address configuration will point towards a DHCP server so that it will distribute addresses instead of the switch. In that case, there is no need to configure DHCP Relay on the firewall itself as it's already being handled by your switch and your DHCP server.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
