PA-3220> show system state filter cfg.general.max* | match cfg.general.max-route
cfg.general.max-route: 28000
cfg.general.max-route4: 16000
cfg.general.max-route6: 12000

what is the maximum number of OSPF routes supported on PA3020 and PA3220.

I have checked the maximum number of routes using the command show system state | match cfg.general.max-route.

Is there any specific limit for OSPF routes in the routing table ?

@reaper, @gwesson, @BPry

Your inputs are much appreciated.

Regards,

Syed Mohamed Ishaq

Hello,

If you are worried about hitting the limit, I would suggest route summarization. However here is a table of the info you are looking for.

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/7-1/pan-os-new-features/networking-features/pa-3000-series-and-pa-500-firewall-capacity-increases

Cheers!

Hello Otakar,

Thank you for your response. I got the answer for PA-3020.

However, I'm still unable to find the limit for PA-3220 from any resource.

I believe this is a new model. Is there a way to find the limit for PA-3220 ?

Regards,

Syed Mohamed Ishaq
