Best Practise for Scheduling Dynamic Updates

We want to schedule dyanmic updates , we dont have test environment.

we can schedule updates on satellite offices then after 2 days to be installed on hub sites.

prb is if new application traffic hits it will be denied by hub as that application would be unknow for hub ?

Any recommendation on this scenario.

While you can 'disable new apps in content update' I would strongly suggest that if you check this box, you must go back at some point and enable them. By checking the box you are preventing any new applications from being loaded.

What I have done in the past that has worked really well is I go over the release notes when they are released and make sure none of the new apps will interfere. I have by threshold set to 12 hours so it wont install right away and potentially break something.
