I've a query regarding Cisco Jabber connection with Palo-Alto. Below are my points. 1. Right now If any of our company user having Cisco Jabber installed in his/her smartphone & having Jabber profile on CUCM, he/she will connect via Internet on jabber. 2. My question is only is it possible in Palo-Alto that we can bind IMEI addresses in Palo Alto, & only those IMEI addresses of smartphones will access our Jabber services other than that can't access it, in short If user having 2 smartphones & his/her only 1 smartphone IMEI address registered in Palo-Alto so he/she will run Jabber services on that particular smartphone only. Hope my query is clear to all of you guys. Feel free to contact me.

Hello there.

On the surface, the IMEI is not sent in a networking packet (to the best of my knowledge)

In a rather long route, if your company had Global Protect Gateway licensing, AND you had MDM solution, you could create a HIP profile to only allow approved IMEIs out, but again, you would need to have this technology in place.
