Migrate all configuration and whitelists from a Fortigate to Palo Alto firewall?

Hello, we have a Fortigate firewall device and we recently bought a Palo Alto firewall. We would love to transition to this but what would be the best way? We have a lot of whitelist rules that would be a pain to recreate.

Is there a tool or a script to migrate everything?

Check out Expedition

I know you said it would be a pain to recreate everything, but Expedition the first time you get everything setup and actually get things working can take a bit. I usually recommend people take the time to actually rebuild the configuration using PAN-OS so that you don't get broad security entries just because the configuration was migrated. It's also a great time to review what rules are actually needed and what can be removed due to it not being needed anymore.
