Hi team,

We have experiencing something strange behaviour on one of our Palo Alto.

Palo Alto is managed via Panorama, our costumer add a security rule directly to device (not using Panorama). We delete the rule on the device, so doesn't appears anymore on Palo Alto device, but traffic still match the rule... (You can saw it in Monitor, we delete all the active sessions in session browse, but still matches are on there and new sessions are generated).

Have you experienced this kind of issue? Any idea about how to solve it? This is a PA-VM.

Thank you,

Check exakt date and time on the matching traffic, the logs contain the old traffic with the old rule name even if it is deleted so if you filter under monitoring on rule name i.e. ( rule eq 'Rule XYZ' ) you will see the old matches still...but new ones should not appear...at least i have not seen that 🙂
