In our system log of the PAN5250 with PAN OS 8.0.15 i see the following critical message : ntlm exited 4 times must be manually recovered. Does anyone has the same issue or knows how to handle this. I can't find how to manually recover this and where this is coming from. Thx for the help in advance 🙂

Greetz

Manu

Hi @ManuDC ,

First I'd make sure you're running a supported PAN-OS version. PAN-OS 8.0.x has been end-of-life since October 2019.

Are there any corefiles on the device that could relate to this ?

If a process halts and restarts then there is something preventing it from functioning properly. You could try a full reboot as a different process may be causing the issue, but if the problem persists I'd reach out to TAC.

When reaching out to TAC make sure you have a supported software version running on the device and generate a tech support file.

Cheers !

-Kiwi.
