Monitor to where?

You can send system SYSLOGS that should alert to ports going down.

Hello,

You can setup a log filter to send you alerts. Otherwise its sending everything to a syslog server and have it alert.

Specifically the filter that you are looking for is ( eventid eq link-change ) within the system logs; this will display any Up/Down event on a connected interface.
