SFP Virtualwire on PA-820

Hi,

I configure my device to virtualwire mode with sfp baseT transceiver but it wan't to work (they are red in GUI).

When I change to Layer3 mode everything work corectly (change to green).

In CLI I can see transceiver.

Have you got similar problem or any advice what should I do?

Hello,

Are the connections up and running on both sides of the virtual-wire? It will show down if one of the endpoints is not up.

Before I change it works fine.

From one side is switch and other is router.

It's work on built in ports but not on sfp.

Hello,

Perhaps take a step back and go through the setup again to make sure nothing was missed? Ports are in the proper zone, added to a v-wire config, policies, etc.

First think I've done was make virtualwire zone and interface. Policy was simple any to any in both side.

I'll try one more time maybe I missed something simple.
