Hi @KRYPTONNN

Only with the hardware, you can use everything of the firewalls features except:

Softwareupdates

App-ID updates

Threatprevention (Antispyware, Antivirus, Vulnerabilityprotection)

Wildfire

URL filtering based on categories

SD-WAN Features

HIP Profiles

Various Global Protect Features

Opening a Supportcase

But in general, using a security device without at least maintenance to be able to install updates is almost like driving a car without breaks - Maybe it works, but not in a secure way. You not only put yourself or your users at risk, depending on the setup the firewall could be taken over and could be used to attack others.

You mean that you want to purchase the hardware, but you do not want to purchase any support or subscriptions?

If you want to use any PAN hardware, it will be fully functional as a Firewall device.. without subscriptions or support.

But please remember that any software updates, including dynamic updates for threat and app updates will be unavailable as you will not be paying for any support, which includes software updates and support.

Also, if there are any subscription services that you would like to use, those will of course be unavailable.. WildFire for example.
