Is anyone managing the application 'Square'?

I am trying to get a better understanding how to identify the application being used for a transaction vs a website visit.

A website visit to https://squareup.com/ triggers the application the same as a transaction occurring from what I can see.

Definition: Square is a card reader tool and application that makes it easy for merchants to get paid with a smart phone.

Are you trying to block the app and allow the website (or vice-versa) ?

What are you trying to achieve exactly ?

Hi @kiwi, you are correct. We would like to manage devices which can use this application. We would like to allow website visits but we are interested in managing devices which can do transactions.

Hi @clewis1 ,

The app isn't granular in such a way. I would try checking the payload of the transactions and see if a custom app can be created for a transaction versus a regular website visit.
