&lt;P&gt;LLDP&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can now configure Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) to enable the firewall to automatically discover neighboring devices and their capabilities at the link layer. LLDP allows the firewall to send and receive Ethernet frames containing LLDP data units to and from neighbors. The receiving device stores the information in a MIB, which can be accessed by SNMP. LLDP enables network devices learn capabilities of the connected devices, and can be used to map network topology. This makes troubleshooting easier, especially for virtual wire deployments where the firewall would typically go undetected by a ping or traceroute&lt;/P&gt;
