    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm currently running a virtual panorama 8.1.x , trying to upgrade to 9.0.10.&amp;nbsp; The upgrade failed with below error.&amp;nbsp; Panorama is currently in legacy mode.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The system disk is 50GB, there is also an additional 500GB disk.&amp;nbsp; 4vCPU and 16GB of ram.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I believe my issue the system disk is too small.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm aware of this link to migrate the system disk to a new disk.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/panorama/9-1/panorama-admin/set-up-panorama/set-up-the-panorama-virtual-appliance/increase-the-system-disk-on-the-panorama-virtual-appliance/increase-the-system-disk-for-panorama-on-an-esxi-server.html#id27229f7c-6701-4fef-9ad7-cb630ea5cbcb" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/panorama/9-1/panorama-admin/set-up-panorama/set-up-the-panorama-virtual-appliance/increase-the-system-disk-on-the-panorama-virtual-appliance/increase-the-system-disk-for-panorama-on-an-esxi-server.html#id27229f7c-6701-4fef-9ad7-cb630ea5cbcb&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is this all that is needed?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Also, in regards to switching to Panorama mode, can I do that even though the logging disk is 500GB, or would I need to add a 2TB disk and migrate the 500 disk to the 2TB disk also?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I'm currently using CDL, so I don't really need much space&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Failed to install 9.0.10 with the following errors.&lt;BR /&gt;SW version is 9.0.10&lt;BR /&gt;Installing [content ] into partition "pancfg"&lt;BR /&gt;Nothing to install into /mnt/swm/pancfg/...&lt;BR /&gt;Installing [maint ] into partition "maint"&lt;BR /&gt;Nothing to install into /mnt/swm/maint/...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Reasons for failure&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="fieldLabel"&gt;Cause&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;9.0.6 and above are&amp;nbsp;larger codes and they need more resources, so the upgrade will fail if there aren't enough resources available.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;The upgrade to 9.0.6 or above, needs more space in root partition along with more CPU and RAM.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If the Panorama has only 8GB RAM and 4CPUs, then upgrade to at least 16GB and 8CPUs. Which can be verified by cli command '&lt;SPAN&gt;show system info&lt;/SPAN&gt;'&lt;/LI&gt;
