You are correct... in my haste, I did not pay attention to the download and downloaded the Threats + Apps instead of just Apps. Once I did that, the upload worked as expected.

Thank you for the help!

Hello,

I am trying to update my OSS PA but am receiving an error of "failed to update content with following message encfilesize." I have tried different content versions and the result is the same. The contents are transferred to the PA via SCP. And unfortunately, I can't update PanOS without being able to update the content first. There is no previous content to delete so I am unable to try that. I've seen some posts on other forums about this but it usually related to active boxes and licenses and this is the OSS so it's not using a license and the transfer is via SCP and filesize looks valid.

Thanks.

Are you trying to use the Apps + Threats bundle or just the Apps bundle? Since the OSS isn't licensed you are going to need to use just the Apps bundle to avoid any licensing issues.
