On my pa-3020, we have PanOS 9.1.4 installed, 9.1.4 is shown as the installed version on the PanOS web UI. However, when looking at the name configuration snapshot, the name snapshot says the installed version is 9.1.0.
Is this a common error to see a different version installed on the pa-3020 PanOS web UI, and what PanOS says is installed on the name configuration snapshot?

Thank you.

a configuration file is valid for an entire OS main version (9.0 , 9.1, 10.0 ,...) .0 is the base image for each code train

the maintenance release versions installed afterward are irrelevant to the configuration file as none of the elements change while in the same OS version (they're just a string of bug fixes)

between major OS version, config elements can be added or changed so it is important to know the major version only

hope this helps

Yes, during covid, people seem to be investing time into increasing their skills, so I thought maybe now is a good time to considering creating a video walk through.
The current Palo Alto walkthrough posted on udemy is good, however I would like to see more options.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks again!
