I was wondering if there was any way to have the browser popup with the CP login page whenever a user tries to use anything (email, chat, etc) that requires internet connectivity. I've seen this in some hotels before and think it would be useful here. Just so they know what they have to do to be able to get out. We have most things blocked for unidentified users.

Thanks!

Hi,

Do you mean you have seen that in a hotel network it is possible to create a browser pop up (and the browserhas never been opened) whenever a guest PC (not those Kiosk of the hotel) is trying to use any app that needs internet access? I think it is impossible as it needs to somehow control your computer.

If your objective is to make sure that your user will not forget to open a browser before they use internet, you can consider to use transparent user authentication by user agent so that your user does not need to use captive portal for login.
