Hi All,

 Please I want to know is it possible to perform URL filetring and activate user ID in the case of Virtual wire deployement:

My concern is as follow:

 -Can I connect with an LDAP server (i.e: Active Directory) in virtual wire deployement mode to try to attrieve users credentials and do an IP to user ID mapping.

 -if it's yes so what will be the benefit of layer 3 over vwire in my case knowing that my need is just to do URL filtering and to have visibility into users traffic and also traffic shippement by users and applications.

 -Please can someone send me the procedure to connect with Active directory server. and specify when i need to install the panagent.

Thanks in advance;

If we you apply Qos policy for set of users,Qos profile and Qos class matching the rule will be applied only for that users. And if you want you also can enable Qos policy only at certain time range by using the schedule feature.

Regards,

Jahnavi.
