Problem deploying to Azure

Hi all,

I am trying to deploy Minemeld to Azure using:

and the template gets deployed, but it just seems that something is off in the installation script as I end up with just an empty ubuntu vm. Looking at the console monitor in Azure i do get a lot of output but seems there is something wrong in the installation script. The one thing caught my eye:

GPG error: http://minemeld-updates.panw.io trusty-minemeld InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: KEYEXPIRED 1531657138 KEYEXPIRED 1531657138 KEYEXPIRED 1531657138 KEYEXPIRED 1531657138

There are other erros as well but the output is really long. I can provide the whole thing if needed.

Is there perhaps a new template script which need to be used to deploy to Azure?

I've been trying to get this working: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/MineMeld-Articles/Manually-install-MineMeld-on-Ubuntu-Server-14-04/ta-p/98454 but haven't been able to. Would like to know if you were running on ESXi and if so, if there were any modifications to the directions.

Hello Richard,

Regarding getting MineMeld running on Ubuntu, are you running on ESXi? I've not been able to get it to work.

Hi Brian,

I had no issues installing it with the guide you listed. I also skipped steps 1 and 2. I was provided with the Ubuntu server beforehand so I am afraid I do not know if it was on ESXi.

I suspect the repo is not working. The fact that I also got no reply ever to my posts about Azure automatic deploy script not working months ago as well leaves a bad taste in supporting Minemeld. I am aware its not an official tool so noone owes us anything, but some official word here and there or help would be appeciated. I hope someone helps you out!

Thanks for the reply. I figured out my issue. Needed to use the 64-bit Ubuntu ISO. Really odd to me that there weren't other operating system errors during the install or right after.
