Reliable Threat Feed with lowest false positive for Production Environment

I am wondering, which threat feed is most reliable with lowest false positive that can be used in production environment.

Does anyone have done analysis on it? Which one is most commonly threat feed used by customer in production environment? Does anyone using confidence level for any feeds?

Hi @hsoni,

it really depends on which type of threats and indicators are you interested in. Some rules of thumb:

- URLs and domains are less prone to false positives than IP addresses

- feeds refreshing their contents many times per day are less prone to false positives

- often commercial feeds provide a confidence level per indicators, this really helps

Which types of indicators and which type of threats are you interested in ?
