custom miner in super fast installation

Hi,

I trying to install custom miner for minemeld by this instruction: https://github.com/PaloAltoNetworks/minemeld/wiki/How-To-Write-a-Simple-Miner, but path to ft directory in my instalation is different to path in instruction.

And the result is that I can't commit new node, cause of prototype can't find the base class

Hi @Sergey_R,

instead of using that guide (I have to update it - sorry), the best way is to implement an external extension. Using an external extension you can upload custom nodes (Miners/Processors/Outputs) on a production MineMeld instance without changing the core or the main source code.

The same code used in that guide has been converted into an external extension here:
