any additional documentation on using the xml api with type=report and reporttype=custom?

L1 Bithead

Hello,

I have problems with the xml api to use with custom reports:

When I am using this request:

https://x.x.x.x/esp/restapi.esp?type=report&reporttype=custom&reportname=shares&topn=99&period=last-...

(of course x.x.x.x is the right IP and xxxxx the right key and "shares" is an existing custom report)

we are getting this result:

<response status="error">
  <result>
    <msg>Request Error</msg>
  </result>
</response>

Any ideas what is going wrong?

Many thanks,

Sylvia

possibly the 'topn=99' is incorrect?
