Happy Customer Experience Day!

October 1st is a day to celebrate our customers and acknowledge the professionals who strive to create exceptional customer experiences. At Palo Alto Networks we have many customer experience professionals working to meet the needs, wants, and expectations of our customers. I’m humbled and honored to work with the Palo Alto Networks Online Customer Experience team, a caring and committed team that is focused on creating positive customer experiences.

Resources like Beacon provide smart, informative onboarding and education paths for new customers and customers looking to learn and grow in cybersecurity. Our LIVEcommunity connects many customers and experts solving each other’s problems every day. And the Customer Support Portal is always evolving to meet the ever-changing support and maintenance needs of our customers.

What is Customer Experience (CX)?

According to Harvard Business Review, Understanding Customer Experience, “customer experience encompasses every aspect of a company’s offering—the quality of customer care, [...] but also advertising, packaging, product and service features, ease of use, and reliability” (February, 2007). In a nutshell, customer experience is a customer’s perception of a company’s brand.

Join the CXDay LIVEcommunity discussion #CXDAY2019!

In the first of our CX Day celebrations at Palo Alto Networks, we want to honor you, our customers, by hearing from you. Tell us what makes you a happy customer. In your words, what does it mean to provide great customer service? What are your examples of an excellent experience? Use #CXDAY2019 in your post.

Who has helped you along your customer journey in the LIVEcommunity or at Palo Alto Networks? Was it one of our dedicated Solutions Engineers—Joe Delio (@jdelio), Kim Wens (@kiwi), or Tom Piens (@reaper)—or was it another Palo Alto Networks team member? Perhaps it was a community member exemplifying what community is all about by connecting, sharing, and learning with you and others

Register or Sign In to LIVEcommunity. You will be entered for prize drawings and will earn a special CXDay badge for every #CXDAY2019 post.

We don’t exist without you, and CX Day is all about you.

Our customers' trust and engagement mean everything to us, so we occasionally mix work with play in our side activities, such as the Halloween challenge, and make every effort to not only make the LIVEcommunity a great resource but also a favored daily stop.

We look forward to making your experience with us a day worth celebrating every year!

@Retired Member , thanks for the blog.

Customer Experience has always driven me on how I am helping others and learning. I have learned soo much from my mentors, too many to list, but I will give a shout our to Graham Garrison @Ggarrison and Karthik Prakash @kprakash  for helping out over the years.

Customer Experience is putting myself in the customer's shoes, feeling their pains and their successes helps us all get better.

Would love to hear from the others in the community to hear their thoughts on Customer Experience

Customer experience is putting the customers' needs before your own.  We've all had experiences where, as a customer, you are guided through a journey or task (not always online) and you encounter obstacles that interrupt or distract you from reaching the goal.  You might be presented with something that's important to the company, because they are marketing to you for their own reasons, but simply adds some frustration to your experience.

Thank you for a insightful and positive perspective on CXDay! We appreciate you as our customer, and want to thank you for your response! The Live Community team!
